Karsten Kopplin has more than 30 years of experience in investment banking and has been working for several regional and international banks, such as Royal Bank of Scotland, ABN AMRO, Deutsche Bank and HypoVereinsbank – most recently as Managing Director and Head of Public Sector with HSBC Trinkaus where he developed and led business in the public sector. He designed a variety of SMARTER ideas and strategic solutions which he implemented in innovative and complex transactions for his institutional clients both nationally and internationally with focus on the public sector, municipal companies and financial institutions. Karsten Kopplin has a degree in Business Administration (VWA) at the administration and business academy in Munich.
Klaus-Dieter Nold
Senior Consultant
Klaus-Dieter Nold is a senior consultant at k:k smart finance. Before joining the company, he was responsible for the public sector customers at Norddeutsche Landesbank in Hannover. Beforehand he worked for several municipalities in leading positions, most recently in a leading position of the financial sector of a municipality. He has significant experience in the design and successful implementation of complex projects and in strategic consulting of public sector clients. His clients include entities of the public sector, public financial institutions and municipal companies. Klaus-Dieter Nold studied administrative economy at Lower Saxony’ suniversity of applied sciences in administration and administration of justice in Hannover.
